Durkheim’s Table 1, found on p. 47 of the Free Press, English translation, explores total deaths from suicides across six countries from 1841-1872: France, Prussia England, Saxony, Bavaria and Denmark. It should be noted that during this time period, the borders of many of the countries were in flux.
